Tejanos In Action Veterans began in 1991 as a group of veterans who honorably served in all branches of the United States Military. The organization adopted its Articles of Incorporation in 1993.
As a non-profit 501c19, the Tejanos In Action Veterans have been involved in various community service activities. Our “links” page has but a few of the noted accomplishments the organization has been engaged in and completed over the past years.
Primarily, the Tejanos In Action Veterans are involved in remembering and acknowledging our veterans for the heroes they are. We always seek veterans interested in joining the Tejanos In Action Veterans Organization. Any TIAV member will provide you with information about the organization. Also, contact us at any email address on the organization officers’ page.
The Tejanos In Action Veterans Organization meets every third Saturday of the month, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, at the Rodolfo “Rudy” Mendez Recreation Center, on 2407 Canterbury Street, Austin, TX 78702.
